This post and beam home up on the hills in British Properties is surrounded by lush greenery and has a magnificent view of the Pacific. We were called in to help with kitchen design and installation. The clients were a growing family that needed a kitchen that would complement the West Coast Modern interior but bring in all the amenities of a modern, well-stocked kitchen. Since there were no spatial constraints, we created a smooth transition between the kitchen and the dining area on one side to allow an unobstructed view of the ocean. We turned one part of the kitchen into a play area for children and added a small workstation. The same glossy white cabinets were used throughout the area to provide a refined, yet light look.
