This sophisticated kitchen in Surrey was done for a family whose daughter is a baker, so a double-oven range was a must. They often host big parties, which is why we decided to keep the peninsula to use as a serving area. The kitchen layout remained the same, but all cabinets and appliances were upgraded and thoughtfully designed to serve as a multidimensional stage for social gatherings. We used IKEA cabinets, added a quartz countertop, beige subway tiling and coated the floors in vinyl.
